As a grit & graffiti aficionado, Steve truly does heart 🖤 NY.

He was classically trained in Russian impressionist, plein-air landscape painting, but make no mistake, today he is a full, red blooded American impressionist. Steve's take on New York City as an ongoing subject has a lot of texture and layers, both aesthetically & metaphorically. His teachers and mentors may be shaking their heads, but lovers 🖤 of New York can't get enough of his impression of their favorite city.

Currently Steve's classic but modern expressions of New York City can be seen at the Columbus Circle Mandarin Hotel's private dining room Asiate. For locals and visitors, Steve opens his studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn every 6-8 weeks to show work, and meet artists, buyers and fans.
